Methodology Note Category assignment uses keyword matching against VAERS-reported symptom terms (MedDRA Preferred Terms), not official MedDRA System Organ Class coding — treat groupings as approximate and exploratory. A single report may contribute to multiple categories (mention-level counting). VAERS is a passive, unverified reporting system; rates shown are reporting rates, not incidence or confirmed causality. Data generated from the DARE-SAFE pipeline (Halma & Varon, Pharmacoepidemiology 2025). See pt_category_mapping.csv for full keyword mapping.
