Yellow Card Scheme — UK Vaccine Side Effect Reporting Explained

What the Yellow Card scheme is

The MHRA Yellow Card scheme collects spontaneous reports of suspected adverse drug reactions in the UK, including vaccines. Public iDAP (interactive Drug Analysis Profiles) dashboards at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/idaps summarise reaction terms with downloadable CSVs.

Why searchers land here instead of the portal

The Yellow Card portal is the authoritative destination for UK reports — but many searchers want cross-vaccine category comparisons. This site mirrors MHRA-style data alongside VAERS, Lareb, and DAEN on our AE overview and per-vaccine pages.

Interpretation limits

Yellow Card reports are voluntary and unverified. Reporting rates cannot be converted to incidence without dose denominators. No public lot-level fields.
