Coverage and reported disease in Hungary
WHO/UNICEF estimates of how many children actually receive each vaccine, and the diseases' reported incidence, from the WHO Immunization Data portal.
- Measles: 3 reported cases, 0.3 per million people (2025). Two-dose coverage is 99%; sustained elimination needs roughly 95% coverage with both doses.
- Pertussis (whooping cough): 82 reported cases, 8.5 per million people (2025).
- Hepatitis B birth dose: no current coverage figure reported to WHO. A birth dose matters most where mothers commonly carry hepatitis B; countries with universal prenatal screening often start hepatitis B vaccination later or target only exposed newborns.
Coverage: share of children who received each vaccine
